Below are several large energy providers operating in the state of Maryland. If you are customer of one of these companies, then you may be eligible to receive significant incentives towards your energy efficiency projects. See below for program details.
For businesses using less than 100 kW annually, the Small Business Direct Install Program will cover up to 80% of the costs via EmPOWER Maryland incentives. Incentives are provided as an immediate discount on the energy savings project. We will do the complicated stuff through our audit and present you with the most cost efficient option.
For existing facilities that are retrofitted with applicable LED lighting, incentives will cover a capped calculated project incentive or up to 50% of the total project cost with labor included (whichever is less). New construction projects are eligible for incentives covering up to 75% of the incremental project cost. All LED fixtures must be ENERGY STAR or DLC listed. We will do the complicated stuff through our audit and present you with the most cost efficient option. Incentives are offered via EmPOWER Maryland.
Small businesses using less than 100 kW monthly can receive incentives to cover up to 70% of total project costs for the installation of energy efficient equipment including LED lighting. This program is in coordination with EmPOWER Maryland. We will do the complicated stuff through our audit and present you with the most cost efficient option.
Businesses using more than 100 kW/month are eligible to receive incentives covering up to 50% of the total project cost for energy savings upgrades. These incentives are provided through EmPOWER Maryland. We will do the complicated stuff through our audit and present you with the most cost efficient option.
Small businesses on rate schedules G and GS through BGE can have up to 70% of the cost of a lighting upgrade or refrigeration control project covered by incentives. Incentives are offered through EmPOWER Maryland. We will do the complicated stuff through our audit and present you with the most cost efficient option.
